I’m Harmony, your local angel girl who was mistakenly raised on earth. My life has been pretty typical. I went to school, joined clubs, all of that. But I was definitely the odd one out of all my classes. But I still tried my best! I really didn’t know what I wanted to do when I graduated, so my parents let me stay at home and work until I figured things out. Those, however, all ended in disaster. I’ve had jobs ranging from retail to fast food to walking dogs, but none of them were for me. I always messed something up or dropped food on the floor or tripped. Anyway, none of them were good. It was really discouraging.
One day I was walking home after getting let go again when I saw a boy sitting on one of the light posts snickering at me. I called out to him, asking how he got up there. Turns out, he was a guardian Angel! And the reason I could see him was that I must be an angel too. I didn’t really believe it at first, but eventually, I came to accept it. He offered to take me to the magical world full of angels, demons, and magic. It was a tough choice, but I decided to go. My parents were very supportive. They told me they loved me no matter what, even if I was an angel.
So, I set out to a new world, one that was unlike any other. Thankfully, the government was nice and gave me an apartment to stay in, as well as got me a job at a local cafe where I could work after my classes. I had a lot of magic and magical history to study on. But it was nice. I mean, I’m still not great at magic or anything, but I’m learning! I’ve made lots of friends who have helped me along the way, encouraging me to work even harder. I even have a black cat familiar named Beans who lives with me too.
But I can’t help but feel like I’m behind in my magic. I can barely use any spells. I won’t even be able to get my wings or halo unless I can master high-level angelic magic. I love my friends and all, but it’s hard to watch them use magic when I’m over here still struggling. I wish there was an easier way.
But there was an easier way. After classes one day I decided to check the community bulletin board and found an interesting flyer. It was for a new magical school that would help teach people with little to know magic how to use it. All you had to do was sign a contract and you were all set. I tried to bring this up to my friends, but they were all skeptical; even Beans disapproved of it. They warned me that there are scams in the Magical World too. I didn't know what to do. It was a big decision with a lot of uncertainties. In the end, I decided to go ahead and sign up. I signed my name on the contract and received a star pendant that held immense magical power, more than I could have ever imagined. I felt like I finally unlocked my full potential. I just hope I made the right choice.
